Sasha Ottey interviews two women who are currently pregnant with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
Melanie McGregor and her husband knew that they wanted to have children when they were married in May 2008. So she discontinued birth control and began charting everything. |
In April 2009, Melanie was diagnosed with
PCOS with an ultrasound which showed the classic "pearl necklace" cysts in my ovaries. In July, 2009 they began actively trying as she timed her ovulation very closely. They conceived late September 2009. She is currently in her 18th week of pregnancy.
Pamela P is 32 years old and lives in Center Hill, FL. She was diagnosed with PCOS nearly 8 1/2 years ago. She and her husband have been blessed with four beautiful children (AnnMarie - 11, Nicolette - 5 1/2, Camry - 3 1/2, and Kaitlyn - 2.) They are currently expecting their 5th child (a boy) in April 2010.
